Business communication for SMEs (Small to Medium-sized Enterprises)
The module “Alltägliche Geschäftskommunikation™” is available; the French version will follow in autumn.
About 15 years ago, EU-wide research was carried out, led by the Centre Applied Linguistics of Hasselt University (http://www2.uhasselt.be/ctl/), to map out the communication problems in foreign languages of the European SMEs.
A series of concrete communicative situations that occur in all sectors and professions with regular external contacts has resulted from this research.
Learning methods have been developed for this common part, consisting of a book with a CD for Dutch-speakers who wanted to improve their communication skills in French, English, Spanish or German. This research has been brought up to date.
With these new data, the mentioned methods will be modernized and converted into an electronic module. In this way, they can be used in a semi-autonomous setting.
Moreover, a user-friendly basic grammar with numerous exercises enriches this module.
